9:00–10:00 AM | Registration & Welcome

Registration is open for students and educators.

Students may drop backpacks and jackets in a room reserved exclusively for Youth Winter Forum attendees.

MNLA Foundation staff and the Youth Engagement Committee will:

  • Review of the day’s schedule
  • Provide instructions for competitions and education.
  • Distribute scavenger hunt materials.
9:00–11:00 AM | Student Activities

Hands-On Scavenger Hunt

  • Seed Identification
  • Plant Identification
  • Tool Identification (Completed prior to the 11:00 AM education session)
10:30 AM | School Competition: “Green Industry Super Bowl”
  • Each school selects six students to compete.
  • Skills-based games focused on the green industry.
  • Winning school receives bragging rights and swag for the entire team.
11:00 AM | Education Session (Optional, Encouraged)

  • Turfgrass selection
  • Lawn and field maintenance insights

12:00 PM | Wrap-Up & Awards
  • Event takeaways and closing remarks.
  • Awards and swag for all student and educator attendees
  • Time to explore the vendor area while awaiting transportation.
