There are three types of membership available within MNLA to meet the business and resource needs of each member: Active, Associate and Educator. The majority of our members fall within the Active Member category, but each level of membership is entitled to the full range of MNLA Member Benefits. 

Active Membership is available to those persons, firms, or corporations whose principal business is the production, sale, installation or maintenance of nursery stock in Massachusetts, including both wholesale and retail products and services, consumer and business-to-business sales. Active Member dues are based on annual business revenue (see below).

Annual Sales Volume

  • A: Less than $100,000 • Annual dues: $250.00
  • B: $100,000–$500,000 • Annual dues: $300.00
  • C: $500,000–1 Million • Annual dues: $400.00
  • D: Over 1 Million • Annual dues: $500.00

Associate Membership is available to persons, firms, or corporations engaged in allied horticultural industries or professions including: suppliers of landscape and nursery products other than nursery stock; landscape architects; qualified out-of-state nursery professions. A majority of Associate Members sell products or services business-to-business.

  • E: (Associate) • Annual dues: $250.00

Educator Membership is available to those persons who are employed in academia in an accredited agricultural school, high school, college, or university.

  • T: (Educator) • Annual dues: $100.00

Honorary and Past Presidents membership in the Corporation is given for life to an individual who has rendered meritorious service to the green industry. This membership provides all the rights and privileges of membership, except the right to hold office or vote and is awarded on an individual basis by the Board of Directors.
