On March 11, 2026, the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association is proud to celebrate Massachusetts agriculture by gifting attendees a complimentary 2” succulent plant — while supplies last!
This small but mighty plant represents the strength, resilience, and year-round beauty of the horticulture industry right here in Massachusetts.
Massachusetts’ Green Industry at a Glance
Since 1910, the Massachusetts Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) has represented the Commonwealth’s nursery, greenhouse, floriculture, horticulture, and landscape professionals. Our mission is simple: to be a Resource for Success for the businesses that grow, design, install, and maintain Massachusetts’ green spaces.

Year-Round Indoor Joy
With Massachusetts’ long, cold winters, succulents provide a durable, low-maintenance, vibrant green companion that lasts for years — far outliving cut flowers.
Ideal for Urban Living
Perfect for apartments, condos, dorm rooms, desks, and windowsills. Compact size. Big impact.
A Symbol of Resilience
Succulents thrive in challenging conditions — making them a thoughtful reminder of strength, growth, and endurance.
Low-Maintenance Care
Minimal watering. Minimal fuss. Ideal for beginners, busy professionals, and students.
Healthier Indoor Spaces
Succulents release oxygen and can help absorb certain indoor toxins, contributing to cleaner air and a more cheerful environment.
Personalized Beauty
Available in many shapes, colors, and textures — perfect for decorative pots or terrarium arrangements to match any style.
Light
Place in bright, indirect sunlight. A south- or west-facing window works beautifully.
Water
Water sparingly. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings (typically every 2–3 weeks). When in doubt — don’t water!
Soil
Well-draining soil is key. Cactus or succulent mix is best.
Temperature
Thrives in normal indoor temperatures (60–80°F).
Bonus Tip
Succulents prefer to be slightly root-bound — no need to repot immediately.
